With our roots initially established as part of a garden centre, it is not hard to see why we look not only to the home but to the garden and beyond for ideas for your garden room designs. Whether we are taking our inspiration from the curves and designs of the flower beds and patio designs to create a garden room to compliment the existing features, or looking to the gardens natural colours to create the right painted finish to the garden room itself. You can always be assured that any lighthouse addition will soon become a familiar feature of both the home and garden, rather than just a new addition.
Care needs to be taken on the choice of plants you are looking to cultivate in your new garden room, as the type of glazing can vary depending on the intended use or plants to be grown. Glass that is too efficient at keeping out the heat on hot summer days can also prevent growth in certain plants. Similarly many plants can be grown successfully during the cooler months in your conservatory then moved outdoors for the warmer summer period. The right design and advice can successfully bring the beauty of the outdoors to life in the comfort of your home.
Many conservatories are designed to compliment an established garden, and as past exhibiters at both the Royal Chelsea and Hampton Court Flower Shows, we are all too aware of the time and attention to detail that goes into many people’s gardens.
