Due to the excellent energy transfer properties and the ability to mould the Amorphous metal ribbons into wide strips we are able to create an electric underfloor heating that gives a far greater surface area coverage (compared to the copper cable system) and heats to its optimum working temperature in as little as 3 minutes.
Specially designed to work under all types of floor coverings, the Lighthouse flat ribbon electric underfloor heating mat provides ambient underfloor heat throughout the building, rather than one set point. In taking away a need for wall mounted radiators, you can maximise the room available and create an internal design without the restrictions radiators bring.
The flat ribbon underfloor heating system is the most revolutionised underfloor heating system on the market to date, it is a very thin ribbon manufactured from amorphous metal which is only 1.8mm in depth.
What makes the ribbons so unique is the fact that they are very wide and placed closer together than the conventional underfloor heating systems.
Due to the greater floor coverage the flat ribbon system does not need to heat above 28°C to provide a primary heat source for your home, which, in turn means the ribbon system can be fitted directly under any floor covering.
